INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the instructions carefully. Be sure to meet the qualification requirements for the position of Fire Officer 1 (FO1). Inaccurate or incomplete information will be a ground for disqualification. SUBMIT ONLY ONE (1) APPLICATION.

1. QUALIFICATIONS

A. Minimum Qualification Requirements for Fire Officer 1 (DO NOT APPLY if you are NOT QUALIFIED)

• Rank: Fire Officer 1
• Salary Grade: Ten (10)
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Eligibility: Second Level Eligibility (RA 1080, CS Professional, PD 907, Fire Officer Examination, MARINA)
• Age: 21 to 30 years old
• Height: At least 1.57m (5’2”) for Male; 1.52m (5’0”) for Female
• Weight: Not more than or less than 5 kilograms from the standard weight corresponding to height/age/sex

B. General Qualification for Appointment (DO NOT APPLY if you are NOT QUALIFIED)

• i. A citizen of the Republic of the Philippines;
• ii. A person of good moral character;
• iii. Must have passed the psychological, drug, and physical tests for the purpose of determining his/her physical and mental health;
• iv. Must not have been convicted by the final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude
• v. Must be at least twenty-one(21) years of age but not more than thirty(30) years old, and at least 1.57m for males and 1.52m for females in height.

2. Screening Process

The applicant must successfully pass all stages of the screening process in accordance with the Civil Service Commission (CSC)-approved Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Merit Selection Plan (MSP). However, compliance with and successful completion of all stages of the recruitment process shall not automatically confer a right to appointment, as appointment remains subject to the availability of authorized quotas, the sound discretion of the appointing authority, exercised in accordance with the Constitution and applicable CSC laws, rules, and jurisprudence among others.

3. How to Apply:

Applicants shall register online within the designated application period using the official QR code, which, along with the schedule of activity, deadline, and other pertinent details, shall be officially announced and published on the BFP Recruitment and Selection Section’s official Facebook account.

Applicants must complete and finalize the online registration and uploading of all required documents on or before the announced deadline to wit:

• Applications that remain incomplete or unfinished after the prescribed date and time shall not be given due course.

• Applicant must ensure that hard copies of the documentary requirements listed on the 1st page of this form are readily available in their possession anytime during the screening process, for submission at the Office of the Recruitment and Selection Section (ORSS), HRMD, DP, BFP-NHQ.
